Just heard about Vic,
Best friend a guy could have. Never a day went by at Juarez that you couldn't get us to laugh.
Rest well my friend, we will meet again and continue the laughs and talks.

Rest In Peace, Hugo. Knew you through the bunch at Cooper UGC. Inspired in my own life when heard about the work you did at the Chicago stations. You continue to inspire.

I'm so sorry to hear of Vic's passing. We worked side by side for many years on the street and he was always such a cool cat. I looked forward to seeing him because he always made me smile. RIP old friend. Condolences to the family.

I always thought of Vic as another uncle. We liked the same movies and the same music. His enthusiasm carried on with his own musical endeavors. When he performed with his rock bands, he looked just like one of the Ramones. He always brought the best energy to all of the family gatherings and parties I would see him at throughout the years. Even though he will be sorely missed, he'll aways remembered for being a great human being.
Rest In Peace, Victor

Thank you for so many years of inspiration and support. We were sitting around the table during lunch period in 1979 wondering if the sloppy joe was edible or not. During this time, you, Imperial Gonzo along with a few masterminds conceived the Gonzos!!! You said, I have found my drummer. Our first concert as friends with your brother Johnny Ice was The Clash. I hope someday someone will remaster all the early video productions of your talents along side Manny Medina and Ms. Kennedy's T.V. crew! May the Good Lord welcome you to eternity. Thank you for your kindness, your tenderness, your passion, and your friendship. Bonzo Gonzo (Peter)

Farewell Victor, but not good bye... because your music through Brave New World will continue to play as lively now for me as it did back in the '80s. Thank you Victor for some great music and video memories of my youth... My sympathies to the family for your loss.

Victor, I can not believe you have passed on. I always remember how when we would work on music together sometimes a spirit would take you over when you would sing. You invited the spirit in and then let it take you over. You were fearless. Whenever I would get down, you would always say, 'Don't worry bro. We'll get there.' I adopted that spirit to my life's vision and use that phrase often to others... Gonna miss you big time bro... See you on the other side. With love and sorrow, your friend, Liam

Vic always had a positive attitude and greeted you with his smile that told you he was glad to see you. We worked together at WFLD, where he was a helpful & diligent co-worker. I was laid off at Fox and my only contact was through Facebook. The last time I saw him was a chance meeting on the 8 Halsted bus. That smile & outlook was still present. Unfortunately, my our talk was very brief, but I knew he was still as busy as always. My condolences on your loss.
