Antonia Sanchez

Antonia Sanchez was born on July 10, 1925 and passed on September 27, 2021. Her service was held on October 1, 2021.

Those who knew her best would describe her as a strong woman. An honest woman. A respectful and respected woman.

Antonia lived a long and beautiful life. Born in 1925 she saw so many incredible things. She went from having no indoor plumbing to having flat screen tvs. If anyone knew what hard times were, it was her. But she refused to let anything stop her from getting what she needed.

Antonia was not a flashy lady. She didn't like to brag. She was a simple lady. She always walked with her head held high. She was proud of who she was and her family.

There was not a day that passed where she didn't bring up at least one member of her family. She spoke about her parents, who were beautiful and hard working. She spoke of her siblings, who she enjoyed growing up with. And she spoke of her children. Her grandchildren. And yes, her great grandchildren. 

Her children were Mary Guadalupe Vega, Miguel Zavala, Sr. (passed 2021), Luz Zavala, Arturo Zavala, Sr.(passed 2009), Agustin Zavala (passed 2001), and Rafael Zavala. She is survived by three of her children (Maria Guadalupe, Luz, and Rafael) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren including, but not limited to: Miguel (Mike) Zavala, Jr, Arturo Zavala, Jr, Micaela Nunez, MariCarmen Gonzalez, and dozens more. She truly had a large and beautiful family who will treasure their memories of her. Antonia will be severely missed, but never forgotten.
