Sabina Ventura (Medrano), 77, loving mother, cherished grandmother, proud great-grandmother, beloved sister and caring aunt, peacefully passed away and joined the Lord on January 1, 2024.

She was born to Maximino and Clemencia Medrano in Weslaco, Texas on December 30, 1946. She raised her two daughters Christina (Victor) Iturralde and Nancy (David) Rodriguez in Chicago Heights. Sabina regularly attended Cicero Bible Church for many years and was a devoted and loving caregiver to her seven grandchildren: Gio Rodriguez, Julian (Annie) Rodriguez, Becca Iturralde, Victor Isaiah Iturralde, Gabi Iturralde, Alicia Iturralde, and Sam Iturralde.

Her great-grandson Lazaro Carvajal brought her great joy and comfort as her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her sister Irene De Leon, her sister Mely De Leon and brother-in-law Arturo De Leon, her brother Gabino Medrano, and six nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, adored grandchildren and great-grandchild, caring brothers Guadalupe Medrano and Maximino Medrano, cherished nieces and nephews, and loving inlaws.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Cicero Bible Church at 2230 S. Laramie with a memorial service to commence at 12:30 and fellowship meal to follow in the church's dining hall.
