Jesus Lopez Rodriguez, known to his family as "Pops", was born on December 24th, 1936 in Salinas, Puerto Rico and passed away on March 3rd, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Pops was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking man who always put the needs of others before his own. He is remembered for his love of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He was a United States Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Justino Lopez and Julia Rodriguez; children Peter and Nancy; granddaughter Alyssa. He is survived by his wife, Olga Iris Lopez; His children Jesse (Monica) Lopez, David (Olympia) Lopez, Steve (Elisa) Lopez, and Alexander (Liz) Lopez; His grandchildren Jesse Lopez Jr, Jordan Lopez, David Lopez, Mia Lopez, Stephany (Enrique) Cervantes, Samantha Lopez, Savannah (Amaya) Lopez, Joseph (Amanda) Lopez, Vianise (Logan) Lopez-Ewing, Enrique (Molly) Lopez, Peter John Lopez Jr., Alexandra Lopez, Alex Guyette; His great grandchildren Jesse Lopez III, Ximena Cervantes, Steve Cervantes, Julissa Lopez, Alora Ewing, Julian Lopez, Anthony Lopez, Alexiana Lopez, Savannah Lopez, Isabella Lopez, and Mya Lopez.
